  • This week I was able to get a functioning version of our application running on AWS. This took up most of the development time for me this week but I was also able to squeeze in some other features such as working on our applications "Social" page which lets users view curated information posted by other users.
  • 5pt: What is your plan for next week?
  • For this next week I plan to finish implementing a preliminary version of the Social page.
  • 5pt: What challenges, if any, are you currently facing in project development? Do you need instructor assistance?
  • AWS was quite a challenge to get working.

This week I was able to complete the objects for our applications logs. 5pt: What is your plan for next week? I plan to finish the controllers to add, remove, update, and view these logs. I will also look into tackling a systems test for logging in. 5pt: What challenges, if any, are you currently facing in project development? Do you need instructor assistance? We have the front end completely secured due to needing to have it ready for a public facing domain. Our user pages are also making headway into a final stage. 5pt: What is your plan for next week? We plan to continue work on the front end for our user pages while also getting our application running on AWS in some form. 5pt: What challenges, if any, are you currently facing in project development? Do you need instructor assistance? N/A

CST489 / 499 Week 16

  For this week, please spend time browsing through your two years of journals and reflect on your overall experience and growth in the program. Some thoughts on future plans would be great, also.   This program has been an interesting two years, we've gone over so much material and yet I know I have so much more to learn just due to the nature of this field. I hope to continue to grow as I have these past 2 years and into a position where I can leverage my new skills.
